Four Rosmead is close to the city centre and yet with breathtaking views of Table Mountain, Table Bay, Lions Head and Signal Hill. And although just a short walk from the vibrancy of Kloof Street with its great restaurant and café culture, it is a haven of peace. Each of its eight rooms is decorated in contemporary classic style.

Day 9-10:

Amakhala Game Reserve is your next destination, where you spend two nights at the beautifully-restored colonial house that is Leeuwenbosch Country House on a full board basis to include game viewing activities. An ideal holiday destination for families as the area is malaria free and one of the best places to see the Big 5 as well as a whole gamut of antelope and other game. As well as twice daily game drives, the reserve also offers guided bushwalks and horse-riding safaris, river cruises and canoeing, indeed enough outdoor entertainment to keep everyone happy and occupied. A colonial manor house which has been in the same family for four generations, Leeuwenbosch is grand yet friendly.
